A wooden folding screen with a shoji door, with a beautiful delicate sash and design. The washi paper used is sukiya paper, which is made by deliberately incorporating the bark of Kaji trees. The rich expression of the fibers stands out, embodying the simple yet sophisticated aesthetic of sukiya-zukuri. The top is decorated with a design of pine, bamboo, plum and a fan, giving the piece a sense of formality while also adding a gentle sense of openness to the space. It will look great not only in a Japanese-style room, but also as a partition in a modern space.
* Because natural wood is used, there may be small scratches and a natural texture that originates from the material. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we ask for your understanding that this is the unique character of natural materials.
