is a sacred material used for Shimenawa ropes at Ise Grand Shrine and Yokozuna sumo wrestlers' belts.
Refined hemp is made from the bark extracted from hemp stalks,
and its unique luster gives it a dignified presence.
The expressive ends of refined hemp create a certain tension,
further enhancing the feeling of "the boundary of consciousness."
