Straw is a byproduct of rice.
In the past, it was an indispensable material used for all aspects of daily life, including clothing, food, and housing.
There is a certain warmth to straw.
It embodies a kindness that transcends countries and languages.
Characteristics: brown, dry, familiar

That is the meaning of a Sekimori-ishi (barrier stone).

In collaboration with the internationally acclaimed musician Meitei,
the song "Shitsurai" was released on Risshun (the first day of spring) in 2023.
