Yu Uozu
Yu Uozu is a ceramic artist who primarily uses porcelain clay and operates under the concept of "fossils of time." A distinctive feature of his work is his unique style of incorporating natural phenomena that occur during firing, such as the distortion of clay and the flow of glaze. This process creates movement and expression as if time itself has given them form. His pieces evoke fleeting moments like morning dew or melting ice, and while they are everyday vessels, they possess a simple yet profound beauty that allows one to perceive the changes in nature.
