A footstool that invites you to gently rest your feet at the end of the day.
The "Straight-Grain Oak Footstool" features a sturdy frame crafted from straight-grain oak, paired with a deep green upholstered seat. The refined joinery and soft seating surface are designed to accompany your relaxing moments.
The straight grain of the oak reveals a subtle, characteristic figure known as "tiger stripe," which, combined with the dark finish, gives the piece a dignified presence. The sides are constructed with a frame featuring a central vertical post, creating a crisp, linear, and poised aesthetic.
The seat is upholstered in a plump, deep green brushed fabric. Patterned braid trim runs along the edges, accented by individually spaced upholstery tacks. The fabric has been freshly replaced, allowing you to enjoy the character of the aged wood while experiencing a clean and comfortable seat. The harmonious blend of calm green, the texture of the oak, and the neatly aligned tacks ensures it fits beautifully in both Japanese and Western-style interiors.
Place it in front of a sofa or armchair to stretch out and relax. It also serves perfectly as a small stool for taking a moment to sit while putting on shoes in the entryway.
The deep color and luster characteristic of long-aged oak cannot be replicated in new furniture. We hope you enjoy the unique character of this one-of-a-kind piece in your home.
*As this piece is made from natural wood, it may have minor scratches or natural characteristics inherent to the material. Additionally, the fabric of the seat may undergo changes in color and texture over time with use. We kindly ask for your understanding in appreciating these nuances as the natural charm of the materials.
