Yu Uozu
He is a ceramic artist who mainly works with porcelain clay, and works under the concept of "fossils of time." His works are characterized by a unique style that incorporates natural phenomena such as the distortion of clay and the flow of glaze during firing. This process creates movements and expressions that seem as if time has given them shape. His works also express fleeting moments such as morning dew and melting ice, and while they are vessels for everyday use, they have a simple yet profound beauty that allows one to sense the changes of nature.
