The sculptors are experts in carving portable shrines, danjiri floats, towers, and taiko drum stands used in festivals, and express lively movements and delicate craftsmanship from myths, Sengoku period picture scrolls, and lucky animals and plants. Making use of traditional woodcarving techniques , we have handcrafted each and every masu, which is also traditional for Japanese people, and have prepared masu with the Matsubaya Saryo original logo.
