After graduating from the Japanese Painting Department of Saga Art College, Yoshiko Hashimoto studied under Masatoshi Tsujimoto, a leading figure in Saiboku Yuzen, and then, like Daisuke, under the second-generation Jogaku Hashimoto. Yoshiko's blue and white porcelain works feature lively depictions of familiar "old ladies you've seen somewhere before" and humorously deformed animals and people, and their rich expressiveness brings joy to the viewers.
